Had a torta and guacamole/chips. Food was delicious and staff is extremely nice! Great neighborhood spot
started with horchata, delicious! tastes like rice pudding lol guac so creamy & rinch & cilantro'iness super warm chips my first time trying papusas & enchiladas la familia es muy calidó y amable, la comida rica, una buena onda aquí, eso es seguro!
Everything was great! Reasonable prices for fresh, delicious food. We got guac and chips, one chicken tinga burrito and one steak burrito. They were both very simple and full of flavor--really reminded me of my trips to Mexico! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the inside was clean and comfortable!
Amazing family run taqueria. Has periodic specials. Very nice staff. I had the assortment of vegetarian quesadillas. Since they give 3 smaller ones you can try different veg and non-veg varieties. Will definitely be back.
In my dream world, every tacqueria is a Tacqueria Morales. The first time I came here was because they share my namesake, and Im self absorbed. BUT BRO they changed mexican food for me forever. Fluffy homemade tortillas every single day, beautiful smooth fresh refried beans, agua jamaica that stains your tongue a little because it's so concentrated. The birria is to die for, I definitely recommend the rotating specials and tostadas, pretty much every any and every thing on the menu. They're BYOB so come with a bottle or beers if you like, it's a cafeteria style interior that's super casual and family oriented. They treat you like family in there, this is my #1 recommendation to anyone looking for an affordable memorable meal in Philly. Free street parking, too.
Fresh, flavorful and filling. 3 shrimp tostadas with extra shrimp and a side of guacamole for $21. Made in a timely manner. Ordered via delivery service and my food is delicious.
I like everything about this restaurant! You are greeted by a helpful, friendly and personable staff. I'm sure they were the owners/family. The restaurant is extremely clean and nicely but not overly decorated with bright colors and traditional Mexican tapestry. Very inviting scenery with plenty of seats but during Covid they are limiting how many patrons can dine in. My order was to go and 7 miles later it was still warm ready to serve. When it comes to Mexican food I pretty much like everything so there are no favorites that I can measure my burrito with. However this chicken burrito was the most flavorful and delicious items I've had so far this year. Enough to ensure I will return soon.
